First of all, we would like to thank you all for voting for your favorite graphic design type of post on Beeex.net. Our recent poll about what you’d like to see on our site counted a total of 388 votes in 10 days! Not bad for the rather new blog that we are.

Here are the results:

Photoshop Tutorials, Illustrator Tutorials, or WordPress Plugins?

1. Photoshop Tutorials & Freebies (150 votes), 38%
2. WordPress Plugins, Themes & Goodies (107 votes), 28%
3. Illustrator Tutorials & Freebies (92 votes), 24%
4. Web Development / HTML, CSS, PHP Tutorials & Tips (35 votes), 9%, and finally
5. InDesign Tutorials & Tips (4 votes), 1%

And the winner is…

And… we have a winner! With 38 percent in total, Adobe Photoshop wins before its sister design applications Illustrator and InDesign. The latter only got 4 votes, as you see. This affirms our perception that InDesign, as a professional layout and publishing tool, doesn’t have as many followers in as both Photoshop and Illustrator do. That may be because, just like QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign isn’t a tool for creating illustrations, but for merging and finishing them to a publication.

WordPress as our favorite blog platform takes a respectable 2nd place! Yes, we know, we all love WordPress to death. As a result of this poll, in the future, we will expand our WordPress section for bloggers. Just like with Photoshop tutorials, we will post the web’s best links to WordPress themes, plugins and scripts.

Adobe Illustrator tutorials and tips takes the third rank. We will continue posting quality content about this application as well!

Web development in general got 9 percent. Here, we will also continue delivering the hottest resources – strictly free, of course – for your convenience.

What counts is that we will keep up our work of listing the best tutorials, tips and freebies on the internet for you. We will take the results of this poll and post only quality work that have the capability of improving your design and development skills.
