How to paint a photorealistic Image from Scratch
April 8th, 2008 | by beeex happy team |We have an amazing Photoshop tutorial for you today. Take a look at this picture: You think it’s a photograph, right? Well, it’s not!
The above artwork has been created from scratch, using Adobe Photoshop only. The designer and author of this great tutorial, Daniel “Wade” Hammonds, started with a white canvas and describes every step in the process of creating this beautiful piece of design.
The tutorial spreads on seven pages and illustrates the necessary steps to create such an artwork quite thoroughly. To create the image, Daniel mostly used the Photoshop Brush in Airbrush mode, the Smudge tool, and the Dodge and Burn tools. We rated this tutorial for experienced Photoshop users, because you do need some practice and experience (and a calm and steady hand) in dealing with these tools.
If you want to see what’s possible with Adobe Photoshop and you want to learn professional techniques, this tutorial is a must-read for you.
